Martigues is an ideal destination for family trips with the kids. One exciting activity to try is a visit to the Parc Ornithologique de Pont de Gau. Here, kids can admire the diversity of bird species while walking around the lush wetlands and pathways. Don't forget to hop on the coastal train, a vintage train from the 1920s, for a spectacular journey along the Calanques de la Baume. When the kids get hungry, there are plenty of child-friendly eateries nearby offering traditional French snacks.
