Metz is best visited during the warmer months of spring and summer, when temperatures are mild and the days are long. From late February to August, Metz is glowing with the colours of spring, host to numerous outdoor activities, and many attractions, such as expansive parks and beautiful lakes that are perfect for picnics or outdoor group sports. October and November are also great months to visit for some of the amazing cultural events that take place every year.

Metz has plenty of attractions to offer, making several days a perfect length of stay. With a few extra days, visitors could also take a daytrip to the nearby Lorraine region to explore the rolling hills and vineyards.
